New parcel delivery agreement

Tollpost Globe has entered into an agreement with NorgesGruppen which will enable us to deliver parcels to our customers through a selection of Kiwi, Joker, Spar and MIX shops. Tollpost Globe consequently strengthens its position as number two in the Norwegian market.

-The agreement with Norges Gruppen provides MyPack with an even better distribution of parcels in Norway. We are consequently well equipped for this market, says communications- and marketing manager, Mr. Ole A. Hagen of Tollpost Globe.

-NorgesGruppen takes into account that the customers, also in the future, will expect to be able to collect their parcels while shopping because the shops keep long opening hours and it’s possible to collect parcels while shopping, says Mr. Odd Birkenes, manager of value adding services in NorgesGruppen. Norgesgruppen already has agreements with Posten Norge and Schenker, neither of which will be affected by this agreement.

Tollpost Globe has previously entered into agreements with Coop Norge and ICA concerning delivery of parcels. MyPack today distributes to 650 shops all over Norway. The agreement with NorgesGruppen entails that Tollpost expects to reach their goal of distributing through 900-1000 shops by the end of next year. NorgesGruppen is the biggest group within the grocer’s trade in Norway with a 40 percent market share.

MyPack is the Nordic concept Tollpost Globe and its owner, Posten Norden, uses in the marketing of parcels in shops. With its owner, Posten Norden (Posten AB and Post Danmark A/S), Tollpost Globe aims at a long term building up of MyPack in Norway.
