Notification of collective notice for the Standard Agreement (Norwegian Union of Employees in Commerce and Offices (HK)

NHO (Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise) on May 3rd received notification of collective notice in case of conflict for the Standard Agreement. Initially, the Norwegian Union of Employees in Commerce and Offices has chosen to include two industries in case of conflict – the transport industry and the telephone directory information companies.

The LTL’s (Norwegian Logistics and Freight Association) line of business will be seriously affected should a conflict occur between NHO and HK. Should a conflict occur, the following LTL member companies will be included:

Bring Logistics AS, 17 Dep.

Bring Frigoscandia AS, 2 Dep.

DHL Express (Norway) AS, 3 Dep.

Nor Lines AS, 6 Dep.

Schenker AS, 22 Dep.

Tollpost Globe AS, 5 Dep.

Approximately a total of 60 Tollpost Globe employees are organized in the Norwegian Union of Employees in Commerce and Offices(HK), and of these about 45 have now been notified about collective notice. These employees work in 15 different staff- and operating departments at 5 locations in Norway. Mediation between HK and NHO at the Chief State Mediator’s concerning the Standard Agreement will take place on the 6th and 7th of May. The Norwegian Union of Employees in Commerce and Offices (HK) has notified that a possible conflict will be initiated from Monday, May 10th. As a consequence mediation may take place also on Saturday May 8th and Sunday May 9th.
