Tollpost Globe goes for parcels to private customers

Tollpost Globe is challenging the postal services and starts as distributor of parcels to private customers. You will soon be able to pick up your parcels at one of ICA's og Rimi's 400 shops.

It's one of Tollpost's two big owners, Swedish Posten AB, who has entered into the agreement with ICA Norway. Tollpost Globe will handle distribution in Norway. Tollpost already has 300 other collection points for delivery of parcels to private persons in Norway.

Tollpost Globe will offer delivery of parcels to private persons. Through a large network of shops, companies can now send their parcels to private persons through our postal net, says Mr. Robin Olsen, Tollpost Globe's managing director.

The new service targets one of the big customer groups: net shops and mail order companies who need to reach customers throughout the country. Companies wishing to reach households may now send their parcels through Tollpost Globe. The customers will be notified by e-mail, sms or through their mailbox about their parcel having arrived. They can then pick up their parcels while they're shopping for milk and bread anyway.
