Product flow Door-Door

The Door-Door product flow is the term for consignments not being handled at any terminal, but which are directly forwarded non-stop from sender to recipient. The consignments will as a rule exceed 2 tons (part loads) or fill total units.

TOLLPOST FULL AND PART LOADS is dry cargo forwarded as full or part loads directly to recipients in Norway. Minimum freight calculation weight is 2 tons, but the units must not exceed a size possible to handle with ordinary equipment and to forward with ordinary transport units. It must be possible to pick-up and deliver the consignments directly using the forwarding equipment (container, semi-trailer, etc.). Larger units as per agreement.

TOLLPOST THERMO FREIGHT is the solution for transport of temperature sensitive products. Thermo is as a rule fully loaded units like semi-trailers and containers, but smaller consignments may be forwarded as per agreement. Tollpost Globe covers thermo transport in Norway, the Nordic countries, Europe and destinations overseas, partly through own management, partly in co-operation with our sister companies.

TOLLPOST PROJECT consists of tailor-made solutions carried out with earmarked transport equipment over closed, scheduled transport distances. In co-operation with the customer, we work out fixed schedules adapted to the customer's pick-up and delivery requirements. Long distance or local transports as per agreement. Transport schedules may also be arranged for several customers where cost effectiveness for several parties may be obtained. Tollpost Globe's Project Department will earmark one or more persons who in co-operation with the customer will:

• carry out product flow analyses,
• develop solutions,
• recommend transport equipment,
• participate in implementation at the customer's and at Tollpost Globe's,
• carry out management and operation of agreement,
• follow-up of quality and
• follow-up of economic conditions.
