The Tollpost Groupage component

The consignments are handled at one or two terminals and the freight calculation is carried out in accordance with the following criteria:

TOLLPOST GROUPAGE ,specifications:

• Normally 0 - 2000 kilos
  
• Max. 1000 kilos real weight per unit
  
• No side to exceed 240 cm
  
• One side only to exceed 200 cm
  
• Two sides only to exceed 100 cm
  
• Volume calculation 1 m³=286 kilos (1:3,5)
  
• Please see calculated forwarding times in the Transport Schedule at www.tollpost.no.
  
• In cases where one or more consignment units exceed the above specifications, the consignment will automatically be freight calculated as TOLLPOST GROUPAGE/Special freight.

TOLLPOST GROUPAGE/Single-unit exceeding 35 kilos ,specifications:

• Agreement required. In case no specific agreement has been registered at the customer number for "TOLLPOST GROUPAGE/Single unit exceeding 35 kilos", the freight calculation for the consignment will be carried out in accordance with "TOLLPOST GROUPAGE".
  
• Max. 1000 kilos real weight per unit
  
• No side to exceed 240 cm
  
• One side only to exceed 200 cm
  
• Two sides only to exceed 100 cm
  
• Volume calculation 1 m³=286 kilos (1:3,5)
  
• Please see calculated forwarding times in the Transport Schedule at www.tollpost.no.
  
• In cases where the unit exceeds the above specifications, the freight calculation for the consignment will be carried out in accordance with "TOLLPOST GROUPAGE/Special freight".

TOLLPOST GROUPAGE/Special freight ,specifications:

• Max. 2000 kilos real weight per unit
  
• No side to exceed 750 cm
  
• One side only to exceed 240 cm
  
• Volume calculation 1 m³=286 kilos (1:3,5)
  
• A consignment will automatically be calculated as TOLLPOST GROUPAGE/Special freight in cases where one or more units exceed the measurement- and weight specifications for TOLLPOST GROUPAGE.
  
• In cases where the units' measurements indicate that the consignment should be calculated according to the TOLLPOST GROUPAGE/Special freight conditions, up to two days transport time should be added to the forwarding times stated in the Transport Schedule.

When Tollpost Globe carries out measuring and weighing of consignments either picked up at the sender's or delivered at one of our terminals, these measurements/weights form the basis for categorising and freight calculation of the consignment.
