LTL with new offer for solution of strike

The Norwegian Logistics and Freight Association (LTL) has today, June 1st, presented a new offer to The Norwegian Transport Workers’ Union (NTF) in order to achieve an immediate end to the unfortunate conflict.

Following negotiations and mediation over a longer period of time, LTL now makes a final try to reach a solution.
The main points of the offer are:

  • A total pay increase of NOK 3,- per hour
  • Equal pay for equal job (permanent staff, substitute workers, contracted workers and temporary staff)
  • Introduction of volume regulation which meets NTF’s demand concerning tariff pay for all terminal work without interfering with the employer’s obvious right to organize and administer the work tasks (management right)
-These three points should take care of NTF’s worry about social dumping as well as giving the members a substantial pay increase, says Mr. Tom Rune Nilsen, CEO of LTL.
