Instead of giving away Christmas presents to their employees and customers, Tollpost Globe has this year decided to give NOK 100,000 to “Safe Traffic’s” (Trygg Trafikk) important work for road safety. Trygg Trafikk is pushing for improvement of road safety, and Tollpost Globe’s Christmas present will contribute to strengthen traffic training for children and young people, says Communications- and Marketing Manager, Mr. Ole A. Hagen.
Trygg Trafikk is very happy about the generous gift from the transport company
-This is a wonderful gift, and we’re extremely happy about it. – There are many Tollpost Globe employees on the road. This is sending a good signal to employees and customers as well as to co-operating partners showing that the company supports the efforts for improved road safety, says Trygg Trafikk’s Managing Director, Mrs. Kari Sandberg.
It’s a very good thing that Tollpost Globe wants to contribute to improved road safety in this manner, Kari Sandberg concludes.
Traffic training, free of charge
The present from Tollpost globe will, among other things, be used for further development and marketing of Trygg Trafikks interactive traffic training for children and the young. The organization introduced two new websites for children in February 2009; barnastrafikklubb.no (children's traffic club) and trafikkogskole.no (traffic and school). The aim is to offer traffic training free of charge both at home and at school. The Christmas gift will come in very handy in 2010!
It's important to meet children and the young in their own arena. Almost everybody has access to the Internet, and here we're able to meet our target groups in a broad sense. With the aid of Tollpost Globe's Christmas present, we're enabled to develop new and exciting elements which may increase the number of visits and provide more knowledge about traffic safety, says Kari Sandberg.
-Trygg Trafikk is pushing for improved road safety, and Tollpost Globe's Christmas present will contribute to strengthening traffic training for children and the young. Use of digital media and development of new solutions engaging children and young people are important factors in the work for improved road safety, says Communications- and Marketing Manager, Mr. Ole A. Hagen of Tollpost Globe.
